At around 12:30 am of November 28, Thanksgiving Day 2013, a fire broke out on the second floor of the strip mall in which this branch of Choice Meat Market is located.

Choice itself was not damaged but the smoke prevented them from opening for regular business as they usually do on Thanksgiving.
