Halgatteok is short for Halmoni Garae Tteok, which is Korean for Grandma’s Rice Cakes.
There are over 125 HalGaDduk locations in South Korea, and this is the second one in Los Angeles. The first one opened in 2023 on 8th Street, though closing shortly thereafter.
