Located on Wilshire Boulevard between Vermont Avenue and New Hampshire Avenue, the consulate is the closest thing to an embassy in the city. (Actual country embassies are in the nation’s capital, Washington, DC.)

Generally open Monday-Friday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

* Korea established diplomatic relations with the United States on May 22, 1882.

The jurisdiction of the Korean Consulate General in Los Angeles encompasses Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico.

The structure was built in 1956.
