Opened in May 2013 at the Madang on Western Avenue, just north of Wilshire Boulevard.

Sells various knick-knacks including Japanese snacks, candy, dehydrated kimchi, cheap underwear, kitchen tools, and two-dollar sun hats. Many items are priced at one dollar or a dollar and fifty cents.

Open seven days a week, 10:00 am – 9:00 pm.


DAISO is a popular chain of Japanese retail stores known for selling many items at $1.50 each. It has more than 2,500 stores in Japan.
