HLAY was a small restaurant located on the northwest corner of 6th Street and Oxford Avenue.

* The restaurant closed in February 2024 after the unexpected demise of their chef.

Jonathan Whitener was found lifeless inside his home on the evening of February 7 (Wednesday), 2024. Cause of death was substance abuse — cocaine overdose and excessive alcohol consumption.
