LAX FlyAway
Loading...One of the most affordable means to get to Koreatown from the airport is to take the flyaway from LAX to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. From there, you can take the Purple Line of the subway into the heart of Koreatown.
It costs just $7 one way from LAX to Union Station downtown, or vice-versa. CASH NOT ACCEPTED.
No reservations required.
All FlyAway buses drop-off passengers on the Upper/Departures Level of each terminal at LAX.
At LAX, passengers board buses on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal under the green “FlyAway, Buses and Long Distance Vans” signs. Each bus is marked with its service location.
Location: The LAX FlyAway® service operates from Bus Stop 9 at the Patsaouras Transit Plaza at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. Passengers should enter on the Vignes Street side of Union Station.
Travel time: Depending on traffic conditions, travel times each way can range from 30-50 minutes.
Parking: Parking is available in the Gateway Center Garage located under the Patsaouras Transit Plaza. The entrance is on Vignes Street. The daily rate is $6, with a 30-day limit. Payment is accepted using cash and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express). The parking garage is patrolled regularly by security officers.
Passenger Drop-Off/Pick-Up:
Motorists entering the Plaza should turn right and proceed counterclockwise around the plaza to the designated loading zone area on the west side of the loop. Vehicles can only stop to drop off or pick up passengers in this area located between the ‘Passenger Loading Zone’ signs on the brick pillars to the left and right of the glass entrance doors to Union Station. Stopping is not allowed at any other location in the Plaza.
Driving Directions:
From US 101 Southbound – Exit at Broadway and continue straight on Aliso Street. Turn left on Main Street, right on Cesar E. Chavez Avenue and then right to enter the Gateway Center Garage on Vignes Street. Proceed on Vignes Street to enter Patsaouras Transit Plaza.
From US 101 Northbound – Exit at Vignes Street and stay in left lane. Then turn left at traffic light into the entrance of the Gateway Center Garage underground parking.
Transit Connections to Union Station – Ride Metro Rail, Metrolink or Amtrak to Union Station for a convenient connection to the LAX FlyAway.
