거주자 대부분이 한인인 LA한인타운 20층 규모의 앰배서더 아파트에서 2015년 3월 8일 오전 6시 51분쯤 화재가 발생했다. 불은 3층 발코니에서 발화됐다. 부상자는 없었다.

Owned by Beverly Hills Properties (Donald Sterling), the Sterling Ambassador Towers is a pinkish high-rise building housing 235 to 236 apartment units.

It was formerly known as the Mark Wilshire Tower Apartments, built in 1966 by DMJM Architects (Daniel, Mann, Johnson, & Mendenhall).

Architectural style: Brutalism.
