Sweetgreen received, then returned, a $10 million loan from the federal government after being awarded the money as part of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.

SWEETGREEN LA LLC has been formally registered in Koreatown since July 2020.
