NHSLA is restructuring its programming for the 2024-2025 school year and has discontinued the Kindergarten and Elementary programs to shift its focus to growing its Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten programs.

Founded in September 1984, the New Horizon School is fully licensed and approved by the State of California as a qualified school.

NHSLA is conveniently located at the Islamic Center of Southern California on Vermont Avenue by Fourth Street.

The campus is designed to create the best possible environment for the growth and development of preschool, kindergarten and elementary children where art and essay-writing skills are honed for higher education.

Ample opportunities for activities indoors and outdoors to develop large and small motor skills while maintaining safety standards. The school has a computer lab and library for the children’s use.
