Opened at the Madang Mall in late 2013, Beard Papa is an international chain of cream-puff stores started in Osaka, Japan, in 1999. It now has over 250 stores in Japan and 300 worldwide.

Their trademark product is a choux pastry shell filled with whipped cream custard, available in vanilla, chocolate, and specialty flavors such as green tea, strawberry, Nutella, Limoncello, coconut creme, Apple Cinnamon, Key Lime Pie, Banana, Piña Colada, mango, pumpkin, Earl Grey tea, éclair, and coffee. In addition, Hawaiian locations also have haupia, lilikoi, Baileys Irish Cream, Mint Chocolate, Raspberry Chocolate, Red Velvet Cake and caramel flavors. The different flavors are sold on a rotating schedule.
