The owner and two employees were convicted in August 2015 for selling alcohol after hours and attempting to hide evidence.

Min Ah Lee, 48, was convicted of one count of allowing alcohol to be consumed after 2:00 a.m. at her restaurant. Judge Robert Longoria sentenced her to one year of probation and ordered that her current restaurant manager complete the Standardized Training for Alcohol Retailers (“STAR”) program.

Employees Dae Geun Kim, 26, and Jae Hyeok Lee, 27, were each convicted of one count of destroying or concealing evidence. Judge Longoria sentenced both employees to one year of probation and ordered them to complete STAR training.

On April 8, 2015, ABC agents conducted an inspection of the restaurant at approximately 2:30 a.m. Kim allegedly slammed and locked the restaurant door once agents identified themselves as police officers. Kim and Lee allegedly quickly ran around the restaurant collecting, throwing away, and hiding bottles of alcohol they had been serving to patrons. Video evidence obtained by the ABC agents confirmed that the employees were serving alcohol after 2:00 a.m., and that they attempted to conceal the alcohol when agents arrived.
