Burgerim – Closed
An Israeli chain whose name Burgerim translates to “many burgers” in Hebrew.
Opened a location in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles in 2017.
In the spot formerly occupied by Mauya Tokyo, then the short-lived Juice Lab, between Pizza Hut and Subway at the strip mall known as the Wilshire-Gramercy Plaza Shopping Center.
This location on Wilshire served halal food, which is appropriate considering the significant population of Muslims in the Koreatown area — Indonesian and Desi.
November 2019: Impossible Foods’ vegan burgers
* CLOSED * Replaced by the short-lived Original Herbivore, which has also closed.
