Kokio Chicken was a Korean-run chicken restaurant that first opened in November 2013 on Western Avenue in North Koreatown next to Wassada and Blipsy Barcade. Moved to 6th Street as of June 1, 2016. Destroyed by fire in 2018.
Update: In 2020, re-opened at a new location, also on 6th Street, a few blocks east of Western Avenue.
New address: 3417 W. Sixth Street
Kokio is Korean for “Cock-a-doodle-doo.” 꼬끼오 (수탉의 울음소리)
