Potions and Poisons was a cocktail lounge and bar that showcased different alleviative, medicinal, and herbal liqueurs.

In their lineup of elixirs was mamajuana, used by the native Taino people of the Caribbean for hundreds of years. With the introduction of rum in the 1600s, this elixir became a staple of the Dominican Republic. The ingredients include a mixture of herbs, tree barks, rum, and honey. It is purported to be an aphrodisiac, increase energy, improve blood circulation, and boost the immune system.
