For the longest time, this very large office building was widely referred to as the Radio Korea building because of the prominently colorful signage of the local broadcaster.

By 2026, Radio Korea had moved operations to Orange County, and the 370 offices are set to be converted into live/work apartments.

Even half the letters in the “Wilshire Park Place” signage on the facade have dropped away.

TThe 11-story Late Modern building (completed in 1967) is famous for its massive 315-foot setback from the street—the deepest for any major U.S. office building at the time.

The expansive 2.5-acre green space in front, known as Liberty Park, was collaboratively designed by landscape architect Peter Walker. In 2018, the site was designated as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.
