Pocha (포차) is short for “pojangmacha” (포장마차), which literally means “covered wagon” or “tent stall” in Korean. In English, it’s often referred to as a Korean street food tent bar or outdoor drinking stall.
In the United States, many Korean pubs or restaurants that are known for serving soju and alcoholic beverages have taken to calling themselves “pocha.”
King Pocha features a dalgona game, where the prize is corn cheese.
On the menu: savory kimchi pancakes, stir-fried chicken gizzards (닭똥집), bondaegi soup, octopus, volcano mala casserole
