Donkasu is the Korean name for the Japanese tonkatsu, which means pork cutlet.

Koreatown’s Wako (not to be confused with the widespread chain in Japan to which it has no corporate relation) is famous for letting you grind your own sesame seeds to make the sauce for your tonkatsu.

The restaurant is open from 12 noon to 9:00 pm, seven days a week.

There is another Wako Donkasu location on Wilshire at the Brown Derby Plaza.
