Korean American chain supermarket that was on the ground floor of City Center on 6th until closing in August 2019. In May 2020, Zion opened its new Koreatown branch at 888 South Vermont Avenue by James M. Wood Boulevard. (The space Zion formerly occupied on 6th Street will soon be a new branch of H Mart.)

Zion aims to be open seven days a week, 8:00 am – 12:00 midnight. These hours are subject to change.

Fresh fruit, Korean snacks, Cocohodo gift boxes, live seafood, beer, kimbap…

Zion Market has several locations throughout Southern California. They closed this branch at City Center in August 2019. The company has plans to open in the near future another Koreatown LA branch — on Vermont Avenue, near 8th Street / James Wood Boulevard.

On March 2, 2020, a permit sign was posted at City Center indicating that an H Mart will be taking over Zion’s space.
