This is Hmart’s only location in the city of Los Angeles. Part of a nationwide American chain of Korean-focused Asian supermarkets established in 1982.

Opened at the Madang Mall in October 2014.

Cramped interior includes fresh produce (fruits and vegetables), fish and seafood, tofu, kimchi, frozen foods (dumplings, ice cream…), packaged banchan, “lunchboxes” (bento), food samples, Ktown Mellow Pie, Japanese snacks, Korean candy, bottled water and dried noodles.

* The Sushi Boy stall inside has closed. The space has been taken over by a Korean food stall called KTOWN.

One can order Asian grocery items from H-Mart’s online store, which has not only Korean, but also foodstuff from other countries such as China, Japan, Thailand, and the Philippines. They even have Tender Juicy hotdog available from time to time.
