Founded by Ilyeon Kwon in 1982, HMART is a nationwide Korean-American chain of Asian supermarkets. This branch opened at the Madang Mall in October 2014.

Cramped interior includes fresh produce (fruits and vegetables), fish and seafood, tofu, kimchi, frozen foods (dumplings, ice cream…), packaged banchan, “lunchboxes” (bento), food samples, Ktown Mellow Pie, Japanese snacks, Korean candy, bottled water and dried noodles.
