Pizza Hut – Beverly

Pizza Hut was founded on May 31, 1958 by brothers Dan and Frank Carney in Wichita, Kansas. The brothers began franchising the business in 1959.
In 1963, Chicago architect George Lindstrom designed the iconic Pizza Hut building style, which was implemented in 1969.
PepsiCo acquired Pizza Hut in 1977.
In 1997, PepsiCo spun off Pizza Hut, along with Taco Bell and Kentucky Fried Chicken, into a new company named Tricon Global Restaurants, which later became Yum! Brands in 2002.
Pizza Hut now has over 18,000 restaurants worldwide.
