United Parcel Service

The UPS Store (formerly the United States arm of Mail Boxes Etc.) is a franchised subsidiary of United Parcel Service which provides shipping, shredding, printing, fax, passport photos, personal and business mailboxes, and notary services.

In March 2001, UPS acquired Mail Boxes Etc., which was founded in 1980 as an alternative to the post office. In February 2003, UPS rebranded more than 3,000 Mail Boxes Etc. locations as The UPS Store. Each location is independently owned.

유나이티드 파슬 서비스는 1907년 워싱턴주의 시애틀에서 American Messenger Company(아메리칸 메신저)란 이름으로 창립되었으며, 6년 후 1913년 Merchants Parcel Delivery (머첸트 파슬 딜리버리)로 사명을 바꾼 후, 포드의 모델 T를 구입하여 시애틀의 우체국의 배송 업무를 맡았다.
