Clerks can speak basic English and Tagalog, among other Philippine languages.

Seafood City has a mix of Asian and Filipino-influenced offerings with practical products to serve a diverse population. The supermarket features fresh seafood and meat departments, a wide selection of fresh produce, bakery, health and beauty, as well as quick grab-and-go options.

Carries bottled halo-halo mix and Purefoods hotdog, as well as a limited supply of Marca El Rey chorizo bilbao.

They also have San Miguel mellorine in ube and macapuno flavors. Mellorine is a non-dairy alternative to ice cream, in which other fats are used instead of milk fat.

The brands of Filipino chicharon on the shelves include Pamana, Lapid, and Bayanihan.

The company was established over 20 years ago with the opening of its first store in San Diego, Seafood City is recognized as the “home away from home” for Filipinos in the USA.
