Han Kook Supermarket is a Korean supermarket that notably had a wall of graffiti on Western Avenue. (The art was removed in 2014.)

HanKook (한국) means Korea, while Syoo-poh (슈퍼) is Korean for super, which is short for supermarket.

Carries Japanese snacks, fresh seafood, packaged banchan (Korean side dishes), American staples, Latino products, fruits, and vegetables.

Also inside HK Super:

The sign in front says it’s open 7 AM to 12 PM, but they mean 12 AM, as in midnight. The stalls inside often open at 8 AM.
